The Council of Community Services is a non-profit organization located in Gillette, WY that provides a diverse, supportive network of services to people seeking to improve their lives. The Council of Community Services is funded entirely through grants and local donations.
The organization primarily focuses on assisting those in poverty and homeless situations by providing a number of services with the goal of helping people become self-sufficient. The Council offers a number of Programs including: The Soup Kitchen, Food Pantry, Emergency Shelter, Group Home and Permanent Supportive Housing for the severely persistently mentally ill, Transitional Housing for homeless families, Seconds on the Avenue Thrift Store, Weatherization, Emergency Loans, Section 8 Housing Intake, and a Section 8 Apartment Complex.
